Easily Secure Your Tourist Visa

The Austria visa is required for travelers from countries outside the Schengen visa-exempt list who wish to visit Austria for tourism, business, study, or family purposes. As Austria is part of the Schengen Area, this visa also grants access to 25 other European countries under the same permit. Applicants must complete the Schengen visa application form and provide supporting documents such as a valid passport, recent photographs, travel itinerary, proof of accommodation, financial statements, and a cover letter explaining the purpose of travel. Depending on the purpose, applicants may apply for a short-stay visa (up to 90 days within a 180-day period) or a long-stay visa for extended stays such as work or study.

Documents needed for a tourist

The following documents need to be carried with you on the interview date

• Valid Passport – Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay, with at least 3 blank pages.
• Visa Application Form – Completed and signed Schengen visa application form.
• Recent Photographs – Passport-size, taken within the last 6 months on a white background.
• Travel Itinerary – Round-trip flight bookings or travel details.
• Proof of Accommodation – Hotel booking, rental agreement, or invitation letter from a host in Austria.
• Proof of Financial Means – Bank statements (last 3–6 months), salary slips, or sponsorship letter showing sufficient funds.
• Purpose of Travel – A cover letter describing the reason for your trip, planned activities, and duration of stay.
• Civil Status Proof (if applicable) – Marriage certificate, birth certificate, or similar documents.
